With a background in computers from an early age, photography wasnt a consideration until the first digital cameras started to appear on the market place in 2002. Having progressed from their earlier formats, image quality started to become more viable to reproduce into print as well as use in electronic form.
Helping other photographers move into a digital space, scanning film negatives and reproducing work for online use, the art of capturing a moment on camera saw the purchase of more professional gear. In the last 20 years it could easily be said that capturing an image became a style, with a careless grace to clicking the shutter button.
Having worked with Award winning Jounralists and a variety of other media platforms, photography covers many forms from News Media through to Exhibition Art.
The amateur learns through time a style in which they convey their form, and through that starts to look at their results and through that style convey a feeling or emotion through the use of their form. This in itself becomes Art, the process of putting to canvas something to last the test of time.
Time itself, used wisely obviously sees an image archive grow in the thousands of images. It is from this source as a library that copyright, and rights management of the use of your images can play a role in your media.
With copyright in mind, your photography shouldnt need to compete with image theft, or nowadays Artificial Intelligence affecting what you do as you capture the real world through a lens. We look at ways to archive, search and access libraries of images online as photographers to better sell our libraries to media of all types.
