Rag Paper Prints

Rag Paper Archival Prints.

Producing high quality archival prints of your works isnt as straight forward as printing office documents or photographs on photographic papers. The artist looks at the end presentation of the image being displayed which includes choosing the types of paper mediums on which to print to.

A painter chooses a consistency of paint, or print media and how it is displayed on mediums such as board or canvas. It is the same with your work. Choosing the longevity or archival quality of the image goes hand in hand with the chosen surface texture and medium type.

Rag Papers, especially Watercolor type papers will take up more ink than Smooth Fine Art papers giving a contrast quality on a good surface texture that can be displayed under gallery lighting. The use of pigment inks on specialist papers ensures that your images will last more than a century on gallery display.
